Motorhoming in the Alps (for some serious cycling!!)...

Me and a pal are thinking of options for a weeks cycling hols.
The sensible option is to hop on the ferry to Dunkirk and tour the lowlands drinking beer and eating Moule-Frites.
The silly suggestion is to take the MoHo down to the Alps and kill ourselves on some famous mountain climbs.

Just wondered if anyone has MoHo'd down there and if they know whether there are plenty options for 'wild-camping' around the big climbs or whether they had to always rely on sites.

Lowlands is good. Make your way up to Groningen and get slashed. Great town.

Avoid the climbs during the tour. Them roads get mighty busy with MoHo’s.

Alp d'Huez has a campsite right beside the start/finish

Stealth camping in a MoHo is possible around the area, but you have to pick your spot
Get an app on Aires and stopovers also download the ACSI app, it will give you almost every camp site in France
