Sad events in the British Supersport Championship race at Oulton Park.

Englishman Owen Jenner, 21, and Shane Richardson, 29, of New Zealand, were fatally injured in a "major chain reaction" incident on the first lap of the race as the riders exited turn one.

We often forget the risks that the competitors put themselves at and this is an unfortunate reminder.

Very sad, have raced there myself (cars not bikes) when I was a lot younger.
