Yes, he was. I met him a few times when he was driving for Fortec in Formula Renault, as I was providing media coverage (photography) for the series that year.

Sometimes, he scrubs up quite nicely. Other times, he doesn't quite get it to work.

Maybe he should take advice from Accy here. Or maybe not...
