Back on topic - the testing today looked good for Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes. No Verstappen on the grid though. Aston still looking dismal.

Ferrari have blown the field away in final practice. But how much sand bagging has been going on.
0.879 quicker than McLaren. Everyone else over a second off the pace.

Will the two Mercedes still be 1-2 by turn 1, or will the apparent super starting Ferrari of Charles get there first?

Is the smaller turbo Ferrari competitive over multiple laps, if their battery plays nicely in the race?

How much progress will Max make after his qualifying disaster?

These and other F1 questions will be answered from 0400 on Sunday! 😱

Comments fro m one of the commentators was that there will be so many drop outs during the race that anyone that finishes will win points

On top of which Lando, Max and Lewis have all said that the cars are horrible to drive

sounds like there are big problems

Interesting, and not necessarily for the right reasons.

Its also interesting the see Ramilton yawping off about Merdedes unfair tactics with variable compression - you can bet his attitude would be totally different if he were the one benefitting.

Clean work from Wuthell. He can be a nob at times but generally speaking he deserves a break. I rate him as a Webber - not quite top flight, but a cut above the decent second tier drivers, so he could do it.
