Moulton APB21 FOR SALE
Alex Moulton bikes are built in the UK to a very high standard. The APB21 is built around the famous space-frame. This is a remarkable touring/commuting bike. A 20" wheel machine, with full suspension, it is both agile and very comfortable. The 21 gears make it suitable for the hilliest terrain and, with its excellent luggage carrying capacity, it is ideal for long expeditions and long hours in the saddle. I have completed the Land's End to John O'Groats challenge and a tour of the WW1 Battlefields (amongst others). As an urban/commuting bike, it is fast and manoeuvrable, and easy to park. In short, a bike that covers many needs and, above all, a joy to ride! Highly recommended if you have never tried one.

Gearing

I've been asked about the gearing. The 3 speed SRAM hub has a ratio of 186%, coupled with a 38 front chainwheel and a 7 speed cassette (11-27) gives an Everest climbing bottom gear of 20", and a top gear of 94".
