Mountain bike for son c16” frame

Hi all,
After a mountain bike for my son.
Probably needs small adult frame around 16 inch.
Expect many people may be upgrading/replacing bikes around Xmas so if anyone has one or knows of one going then let me know.

If you don't find what you need on here there are plenty on Gumtree etc. Here's one I found in a small size with 24" wheels for just twenty quid. Cheap enough if you need to replace a few things;

No suspension but these old hard tails are tough and ride well.

I have a GT avalanche 1.0 will come with stock wheels plus a pair of mavic wheels, two sets of tyres. Fitted with avid bb5 mechanical brakes, You can also have the hydraulic brakes it came with but the bb5’s are much easier to set up.
So that’s bike two sets of wheels and two sets of brakes £150......it owes me a little bit more than that.
I’m in West Yorkshire, work in Sheffield everyday and travel to Leicester once a month
