Mountain bike Suggestion!

I've been riding a Mountain bike all this while"Santa Cruz Superlight". I've enjoyed it till date. I'm looking for anew one now as I've moved from my earlier place to a new one. I think mostly Iwould be going for A road bike now. so any of you ever owned a Road bike or anyother can share the exp & suggestions so that it would be easier for me topick a good one !

Well there are so many Road bikes available. I googled a few like "Cannondale Touring 2"..."Cannondale SIX Carbon- 3" that too at decent price range !

If 80k rupees works out to be as much as I think (about a grand) then you're spoilt for choice.

Go for any audax/ winter bike that will take a rack. That way you can do a light tour and ithe bike will still be quick enough for group rides.

Santa Cruz Suprlight - I reckon it's kitted outwith at least XT, maybe Hope Pro II's and possibly Fox forks. So, let's allow a budget in the region £2500 to £3000.

A bit of everything & maybe needs to fit a rack now and again. How about a Roberts Clubman?
