Mountain rides in Europe?

I'm looking to book my next cycling holiday but need advice. I've recently climbed Mt Teide, Tenerefe and loved it. I've also done most climbs in Majorca and Lanzarote. Where in Europe should I go next?

I'm aiming to go in October. Am looking for tough climbs (easily accessible), beaches and sun. Any advice greatfully received.

Croatia? I know nothing of the cycling there, but it does have mountains, beaches, and sun.

October is leaving it a bit late - if you go in September you have a better chance of good weather.

Pyrenees on the East coast around Olot / Camprodon will give you tough climbs, beaches close by and sun. Also very good roads.

Excellent transport links as well..
