100 miles round the M25 perimeter? Sounds soulless but probably interesting in parts. At least there'll be loads of petrol stations.

Nearly picked up a book in a charity shop (one on Leather Road off Holborn I think) by a bloke who walked around the M25. All about the oddities he found in the landscape.

Soulless? Perfect! All the more reason to inject some magic dust of adventure within. <Crock reclines on sofa eating home made chicken curry, listening to Bob Marleyesque spliff-rolling riffs...> It is about 118 miles for those who prefer miles, which is 160 + (18x1.6=29+/-) 189kms + all the detours and wibbly wobbly bits, say 250. After that will come the serious getting lost bit.

Marin. Stop talking like that. If you want to come out and play that's cool. Just because you can't keep pace with Ian when you're both standing at the bar drinking another pint of 'Just cycling back home' - don't try comparing yourself to mikee as an excuse. (Don't bring your tea towel collection that's all... )

Twice I've tried to do the QE2 bridge, and twice they've made me take the car service. (this doesn't include the last time I approached. I was in company so went directly for the car.)

I reckon with a good run up from say, Junction 27, you should be able to push through the barriers. Or bring Lee along, as he'll pass underneath and distract them.

Personally, I say we build a massive ramp on the roof of lakeside, with a corresponding landing zone atop bluewater. WHEEEEEEEEeeeeeee!

TC - nice photos, you're the chief photographer of mouseketeers, I remember you still have that one of me and WW on the Southend ride! How is the wrist recovering - you back on the bike yet?
