MPEG-4

I have a video camera which records things in MPEG-4. This is a format that I cannot play on the likes of Windows Media Player or Nero Showtime. Is there anyway I can convert this format to something that will play on Media player so I can share my videos with other people?

Thanks, I can download VLC myself, but I'm trying to burn them to disc so that other people can watch them but I can't seem to do it with Nero because it doesn't seem to recognise the format (maybe I'm just being a numpty). So I was wondering if there was anyway of changing the format, perhaps to something like .avi so that they can be burnt to disc?

You'll have to reformat it for DVD. This involves converting to MPEG2 and mastering a compliant video DVD.

DVDFlick does it all, is easy to use and FREE, recommended.
