I think everyone is missing the point here. It's not that it's a brilliant program, but that it's always been there. When it first came out I was loading programs onto my Commodore 64 using a tape drive. It's from Windows 1.0. The first Windows I used was 3.0 and that wasn't very good (even for it's time), but MSPaint was there, already 7 years old. And 25 years later, it was still there, making it look like Bristol Council employs 3 year olds to do their drafting.

Pretty nearly everyone who has had access to the internet has had access at some point to MSPaint - excepting @Fab Foodie of course. :biggrin: - so a moments silence for the graceful retirement of a grand old lady of Windows.
