I am starting a clear out of my camping/touring kit. I have now got Parkinson's and unable to get in and out of a tent without help! I finally accepted the fact that I'm never gonna be camping again so I'm going to be selling my kit.
First up is my 2021 MSR Freelite 1 tent. Compared with most tents on the market this is a generous one person tent. But which I mean put your air bed in and your sleeping bag and that's the tent fully
filled up, with space for kit in the porch. I've used it for approximately five nights of dry weather camping the last of which was in 2023. I'm struggling to find a direct link to show you the model it is but it is very similar to the current version, just 100 g or more in weight . You need to ignore the weight they give you on the MSR website. I have weighed the actual tent and it weighs as follows.
In immaculate condition bought June 2021. Hard to see from the pics but colour is dark olive green
In case you do find a link to what you think you're looking at, the one I have is the one with carbon/grey poles. There is a lifetime warranty on the poles and I've used that on my other MSR tent to get replacement elastic and it was extremely efficient.

That is basically the tent ready to go.
- Extra pegs 60g
- MSR footprint, which is their word for a ground sheet. I don't actually think I've ever used this and it weighs 138 g. I think I've been using a cheap one off eBay which is much tougher. But unless you're camping on bowling green lawn, I would recommend you put something under the tent.

I have also got the following once I dig them out
- MSR Hubba Hubba NX2
- PHD down sleeping bag. It was a custom design, and cost a fair bit where I bought it but I estimate that the current version is about £600. You can safely ignore the ratings that you read on websites, but I personally have used this in Texas down to about -2 and it was extremely toasty. I know that it was below freezing because a carrier bag of ice cubes outside the tent had not melted at all overnight. It helps if you have a decent air bed underneath for insulation. I will weigh and measure it, but it was 680 g according to my spreadsheet at the time. This looks like a very similar one https://www.phdesigns.co.uk/minim-400-down-sleeping-bag - mine is drishell in gold (bright yellow). I had it altered by PHD to add in a three-quarter length zip on the left-hand side with a baffle to allow more flexibility of temperature control and ease of access. PHD kit is superb quality. I have two down jackets and a down vest from about 12 or 14 years ago and still in superb condition
- 2 x Big Agnes air beds
