MTB & Rollers/Turbo Trainers

Is it fairly easy to get an MTB to run on rollers or a turbo trainer?

I'm just thinking ahead for the winter. I was thinking of getting a fixie and rollers but if I can save having to buy a fixie by using my commuter, it would be great...I run Continental City Contact tyres rather than knobblies

Yes but you'll need a smooth rear tyre for the roller and lots of enthusiasm to overcome the boredom.
