OK i have one foot over into the dark side, i'm interested in moving from my spesh hardrock sport (which has been outstanding for 3 years) with conti sports fitted.

Into the roadie/fixed scene.

I use my bike 90% for commuting, and i have been reading various threads, and i like the idea of moving over to the dark side and going straight for the fixed wheel...

Have any members done this move successfully ?

Would i be better off getting a roadie first and then maybe trying fixed wheel cycling later ?

I especially like the look of the specialized langster all black model 2006 i think...

your thoughts ?

Don't be worried about fixie.I've done it myself and I do like fixie as I think you have to think more about what you are doing. Also I've noticed that you can get excellent control out of them.

I would have thought quite a few members have rode them successfully and I am contemplating getting another fixie myself.

I'm not a fixie rider myself but so many here on the forum and some friends in China like them so I would say 'go for it'. The Langster does look the business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
