I'm pretty worried as it has 26" wheels and a 700C frame when 700C is a wheel size :s

oh and its more than 3 kilos heavier than my off roadable CX bike :s

I'd give it a miss if I were you. It's heavy and is using a lot of old technology such as down tube shifters. Keep a look out for a good second hand bike on here or other forums, or even ebay. Something with STi shifters will be a huge step up from this. If you can afford it, there are a few places selling last years models at knock-down prices, granted twice the price of this, but IMO twice the quality.

I'm sure the Decathlon Triban 3 in this thread would be a better bike, worth a look anyway.

Good quaility down tube shifters are not such a problem as they are indexed and many people still like them (I do).

The main problem is the cheap wheelset and the very heavy frame, the hubs wont last and neither will the cheap pressed steel chain set.

Look elsewhere for cheaper ride, possibly a recycling project if you have one nearby.
