Might be because of the internet, actually, where they can receive this vileness in their own home. Also, they probably have heard this sort of thing from others as well. Around my area, a lot of the KKK ire was directed at Catholics as well as African Americans, Jews as well as the Irish. A lot of bigotry is learned at home, and among mates, I suppose, as is tolerance. One day, we may become a civilized country.(Or I may move to Denmark)
Mrs GA has shorter hair now, as well. When they cut hers off, she sent it in to a place to be made into a wig for a child undergoing chemotherapy.I've just had my hair cut.
