a friend of mine moved to Christchurch NZ just before the earthquake..her bikes took 6 weeks to land..
Fortunately the house survived..with just a few large cracks..

I just watched eight YouTube clips about how to plaster skim a wall. I'm in a state of high anxiety.

It's not easy. By the time you've done a dozen you may find it gets easier
