We have still not had any despite a yellow Met Office warning of the stuff yesterday.

@HertzvanRental must be on 24hr watering duties by now.

Plenty of rain here too. Idiot Dog is refusing to go out. Well, she wouldn't go near the door first thing this morning as it was torrential, but I persuaded her to go out when it stopped: all she did was sit on the patio. Her logic makes no sense to me as she splashes and swims in all weathers (including sub zero temperatures) but won't get her toes wet in her own garden. "facepalm*

Just checked and the yellow warning for rain is in force again from lunchtime.

It's rather lovely now and i haven't had a call from the landscapers to say they won't becoming so hopfully work will commence on Le petit Versaille very soon.

I can be a bit like that on the bike. Cycling in the rain is much more fun than going out into the rain.

The sound of rain falling can, in certain circumstances be uncomfortably intense to a dog's ears apparently, so not as daft as it might first appear.

I'm supposed to be working on the car today, but the forecast is for showers, I've got a couple of rust patches and don't fancy rubbing down and painting then having to dash inside whilst the rain ruins my good work.
