Erm...yes. Even though my pod is new and had a lot of room I still can't get all the cd's on so I change it at least twice a year so this will give me an excuse to have a thorough clear out.

Surely if you connect the i pod to the new computer and 'sync' it all the files will be transferred, after all the I pod is a 'remote storage device' so should act as a 'back up'.
