Back from the vets, pleased with Nettiethedog's progress we have to keep a close eye on her and she's on special food. Take her back next week for another check up.

Morning, drizzle a t m . A bit stressed on cat watch. Gwen seems to have perked up a bit, she greeted in the morning yesterday and today and wanted to go out for a Jimmy, so she must be drinking in the night.
. Sorry my foot is being killed by a kitten at the moment, sharp teeth and hind legs thumping.
Gwen has licked some liquid food off our fingers and off a saucer.
Sorry I just missed an ideal photo shot, the kitten was pulling himself up on the telly stand, doing chins on the bar sort of thing to watch the football.
I am keeping an eye on Gwen to see if she brightens up, she has looked out of the window and seems a bit more active.

Try Gwent on egg yolk, not the white. It's pure protein and it's what I give to Sasha who is a fussy eater and she will not eat around Henry but she loves her egg yolk.

Gwen has just licked some more liquid food off my finger. I am a bit wary of what to give her as it was being sick that caused this problem. We are not sure if she has made her throat really sore through being sick or that she has lost her appetite. Cats can be fussy eaters at the best of times .
She is showing signs of slight improvement, looking out of the window, washing part of her tail and face.
I'll go and give her a cuddle now.

May I introduce you to Violet. She is a Labradoodle who has come to stay whilst her owners ( SIL and her useless fat twunt of a husband) carry out community service at the new Centre Parcs for a few days.

She's a lovely girl.

Max, in solidarity with his British comrades, concluded his fast this morning. I've mostly finished the single speed, and I bought a new washing machine yesterday.

Snipe went for a dip in the river this morning. I somehow forgot to dry her when we got back so her bed is now sopping wet.
