I think I would find that difficult too, I am a large lady and the thought of some 18 year old 6 stone waif seeing me in all my glory puts me right off. I glow bright red at the doctors, let alone a beauty parlour.

This is why I don't go to spas and such, the idea of having a massage or something like that by anyone else but Him Indoors creeps me out. Deep down I am just a prude I think heheheh

I had a spa treatment 1 time in Thailand, it was a full on ritual which finished with a stint in the sauna, not normally my thing but I really enjoyed it. Wouldn't want to make a habit of it though. TBH I am not good at sitting/lying still, even at the hairdresser I am thinking about what I could be doing instead of sitting there, no disrespect to any of the therapists/hairdressers I am just not all that keen.

Absolutely do not understand the waxing, shaving, threading thing. I shave my legs in summer because I can't deal with other people's discomfort at the prospect of a young woman who doesn't, though I admit I also love the sensation of freshly shaved legs against clean sheets. But the rest? Forget it. :stop:

I just think it looks nicer when wearing a cossie.

That is not a problem for me, my hair grows so slowly, I only have it cut once a year.

I have returned from Canterbury!
Mrs v R purchased a carrier bag from M & S for 5p.
I bought lunch. She maintains that this is just and equitable.

As much as I adore the Fragrant MrsP, if she'd dragged me down the shops to buy a Feckin carrier bag, we'd be having a full and frank exchange of views and make no mistake about it.
