We planted about 20 rose plants last year they're looking FAB atm but I had to insist on a Golden Showers . MrsP wouldn't let me have 'The Lady Gardener'

Golden Showers.

I planted Golden Showers at my last house. The flowers got a bit too blowsy for my liking as they aged though.

The weather is quite pleasant here at the moment with a mixture of high thin cloud and some smaller fluffy clouds lower down. At least it is a bit cooler today.
The kitten was going berserk earlier attacking everything, he seems to have gone quiet now.

That means he's up to something

Sheesh that was an interesting drive.... Rather stormy out there at the moment. Driven through mud, flooding, high winds, lightning, thunder, torrential rain, not to mention oncoming vehicles coveting the vehicle in mud leaving me unable to see where I'm going for several seconds until I sussed where the windscreen wipers are on the right not left.... Good thing the dirt track is totally straight and wide, open and usually clear of traffic!

Oh and my roof has a leak which was leaking onto the bed until my friend and i managed to move it a touch.

I went up to the pond and had a quiet sit down catching some vitamin D's , my neighbours tortoiseshell cat came and joined me for a while and sat at my feet until it started to get too warm for her and she disappeared into a hedge.
It is now getting quite hot out there so I have come inside.

Very stormy overnight, but it looks like the heat may break next Tuesday. I got more than an inch of rain in a 4 hour period.

10 minutes after I put my sun cream on the sun disappeared behind the clouds and is showing little sign of coming back out.
May as well go get some lunch instead of topping up my tan

I'm still not convinced you are in Australia! I've been duped into thinking the sun always shines there!

Went out with my eldest to terrorise the local motorists and got slightly more than we bargained for!

Rushed round like a blue arsed fly getting everything done before the TdF coverage started at noon. Made it with three minutes to spare. Was beautifully hot and sunny for my walk but clouded over now. Idiot Dog is splayed out on the carpet. Hopefully she'll sleep for the rest of the day.
