Hill Wimp

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
What was that served with?
That's it.

A cheese and chutney baguette with a dressing of lettuce and coleslaw

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Oh gosh! Been there, done that - many times. I used to write phonetic spellings on the lists. Thankfully, I'm retired now and will never have to do it ever again.

All done - 513 names read. And yes, phonetic practice helped. I stumbled on two - both weren't on the graduation list and turned up on the day!

Red gown off (not me but what it looks like), back to normal.

I used to go to Hayling Island a lot as a kid (we lived on the edge of Portsmouth). Never went to Tucktonia. Looks so quaint!

I seem to remember that you had to cross a road bridge to the island and that there was a bit of a sandy beach. We spent most of the time at Portsmouth and Southsea as there was more to do there.
Tucktonia was near Bournemouth in Tuckton I think and was the U K in miniature. Your picture has brought back some memories, but on the day we went it was grey and things never look their best in poor light.

Mine looked like this (and this is not me, either). Always reminded me of Father Christmas!

Yes - you cross a bridge and there are wonderful sand dunes when you get to the south of the island - unlike Southsea which is all pebbles.
