That looks great - I love damper, although I alwats feel like I should dress like Ray Mears to eat it.

currently I am. That is how warm the house is! Yesterday morning I had 3 merino wool layers on and both my lightweight and outdoor Arc'teryx tops on. I also had my cycling thermal leggings and my padded north wave outdoor trousers, plus a woolly hat.

Currently it is just 2 merino wool tops (one 200 weight the other a 260 weight icebreaker one that is designed to be a top layer, plus the lightweight top, the leggings and padded trousers plus my woolly hat. Don't forget the merino wool sock and the outdoor hiking boots! Yep I currently am dressed like him when on the rare occasions he ventures into the colder climates. Luckily my waist line is a lot leaner!

started on the cleaning of the oven. I think it am going to be buying a 2nd container of oven cleaner at the weekend!

So morning all. It will be going dark here very shortly. Its 4:15pm now and the sun sets in the next hour. It goes dark like someone switching off the light. Today was bright, cold, windy early on and sunny for most of the day. The sun room and laundry got to be very hot and my shower was great. I stepped out of the shower, to a wonderful view, no-one around and was able to dry off by just.... I'll let you fill in the rest.

Today I wanted to find the location of the Vanuatu Islands and the Solomon Islands. So I looked them up in a large hardback book called an Atlas.

I fancy Vanuatu. I am beginning to think about my retirement trip being a three month tour of the Pacific islands.
