I have just had an excursion to the woodshed to release a mouse . Slightly bedraggled but very wriggly after being taken off Jasper. In the process of turning the hall ight on I set off our smoke/CO alarm. Now it thinks it is low on power and is beeping which means leaving the light on to recharge it. Mr Hop is grumpily awake.

Another trip to the woodshed with another mouse. Not quite as wriggly as the last one but alive and kicking. Anyone want a black cat??

Morning. It was very bright first thing this morning, a little bit painful, like having a torch shone in your face as you are sleeping, it has now clouded over a bit.

Thinking it might be grey out there, haven't looked yet. Being chauffeured in this morning by Mrs L who is then going to pick me up from pub later. I did kindly say she was welcome to join us at pub as its her birthday on a Sun, but she's on meds at the moment so can't drink. I fear a weekend of drinking on her behalf may be on the cards

I'm in The Mournes (NI) near one of my aunts, though going here there and everywhere....
Weather hasn't been too bad, Internet appalling! Our wifi is apparently in another building, that's all very well but I book a place to stay after checking if it has wifi for the teens who moan otherwise, Mr Summerdays needed to do a conference call yesterday, and I like to be able to look up weather opening hours etc (I may have a need to log onto a forum when everyone else is asleep too
. Still this time I had the sense to bump up my monthly phone package, which is good as I'm almost through my normal monthly amount of data and I have 4 times that for £5 extra. I've taken lots of photos and then I'm posting them on Facebook to be able to get them onto an iPad for my aunt to see (she doesn't do any sort of technology!)

Yes thanks. Totally different, not my ideal choice of an evening out but still enjoyable. I think it's a great venue for West Ham, they should do well.
Sounds like it was a good night for the hunters, glad we keep our beast in during the night.
