Its the time of the flying ants. Has anyone else noticed them? Apparently they all mobilise in synchrony across the country within just one or two days.

Yeah we've got them, thousands of them. I accidentally trot on loads of them when I walked up to the station this evening.

The up/down motion of my computer mouse spontaneously flipped by 180 degrees for ninety minutes this evening before returning to normal.

Our wifi here was poor, so Mr K has bought a wireless booster thing and plugged it into an extension lead ( we always pack an extension lead as you never know when you might need one) and placed it at the point of the strongest signal. We don't have to stand and wave our devices near the window anymore!

I think that will get added to stuff we take as we have suffered the last couple of times we have stayed places.

I have been gardening for Old Mrs Rocky. Unfortunately the news from her doctor is not particularly good. She has bad osteoarthritis of the pelvis and lower spine. This has been causing her constant pain and giving her problems walking. She does have a range of strong analgesics but she seems very reluctant to take them; despite many conversations with the Prof, who has tried to reassure her. I think it is going to be a very difficult next few years.

Poor Old Mrs Rocky being in constant pain.

Could you find out if other friends of hers were also suffering from osteoarthritis and then get them to talk about how the medication has helped? She might listen to them more than you? Rather than constantly living with pain.

They were coming up through the floor in the green house so I thought I had better open the doors and windows. I later applied a size 8 1/2 contraceptive.
