Good morning from a sunny Coventry. I've been awake since half four and up since six, I've been catching up with a TV program, Versailles, I missed. I'm on chauffeur duties later and I have a mudguard to fix.

TVC is back but cannot shower because our room is being done, even though I have been sat reading it is so hot I could do with another.

I am returned. I have never dived in the middle of a shipping lane before. A ten minute surface swim to find the reef, and vis of less than 5m. One of the others kept having mild panic attacks, he didn't like the vis and the exposure, so we came up after 30mins. Not the best dive, but the others made up for it.

Lunch and bar now. Obvs.

I'm battling with the M25 at lunchtime. I am being let out for 2 days but back Monday for another gruelling week of Hill climbing and rehab.

Take it easy on the M25 it'll be a mare in a Friday afternoon.

I remember many years ago being stationary on the M25 for an hour near Heathrow airport on a Friday dinner time, but I didn't mind, I was driving the works van and whilst I was stopped I moved onto overtime, onto time and a half.

Asda gave me a £10 voucher for chasing a shop lifter on my bike! I thought he'd stolen the bag he was carrying from a member of the public. He said it was his when I caught up with him but I'd seen him throw away something over a fence which I was able to direct the out of breath security guard to, which turned out to be a valuable electrical item.

It is a much nicer day today. I am sleeping in my tent again tonight as we have a planning meeting at my friends house, I am hoping to see some of the meteor shower!
