I'm upset but aren't leaving CC for good. I'll post a little less and hang out where my friends are. Hopefully the racists, homophobes and bigots will keep away. I also hope Potsy doesn't leave - he's an important part of CC.

I'm just very disappointed in my fellow man (well, some men on here, anyway) and hadn't realised how nasty some people can be. I guess I shouldn't be affected by their posts but two or three people have really got to me over the last few days.

I've got a glass of Black Sheep ale and am listening to Mahler's 2nd. Things seem a little brighter.

Chaps, I dont know you personaly nor you me but you get a feel for people in a forum after a while. I have only realy got a little more engaged with things recently after having been here for 5 years or so just asking for advice on things but I have read the forum daily in all that time. You two are mainstays and I have enjoyed your postings and banter..
I am not privy to the circumstances that led you to this but I read about the deleted post earlier today. I don't know who did the offending or what was said and in what context but I would very much like you to stick around the same people you have been in all my time here. The forum would be poorer for your absence as it is with Vernons (although he could be a little patronising and sometimes too direct for my liking I recognise him for the great man he was and the lives he touched).

As said by Potsy himself there is the ignore option. Use it, it will not make you a lesser person.

Unless you are just jesting but it seems not....
