Thanks Hills. We had a smallish wedding eve meal and night in Halstead before going on to
Gosfield Hall, near Braintree in Essex for the wedding and reception. I don't think it was cheap. Apparently, according to Wikipedia:

Later during the French Revolution, Gosfield Hall became the home of King Louis XVIII and his Queen Marie-Josephine-Louise of Savoywho had fled France and the guillotine to live in grand style with more than 350 courtiers and staff in attendance from 1807 to 1809.​

It's been dry all day until 3 ish! And guess when our produce swap at the allotment was? Yes slightly damp but nice that people still came in the rain! And I got rid of some courgettes!

There were courgettes IN my cake (it's tradition to try to get rid of Courgettes at this meet up. But luckily two others had had crop failures so they took my courgettes off my hands. I came away with raspberries, Cavelo Nero, beans and apples.
