Well I've had a fun day today. woke at 3am in agony, the return of the dreaded kidney stones, Barnet General by 6am. Transferred to the Royal Free, an overnight stay and a procedure sometime tomorrow. Good old NHS

Today is the first day in months that the butter has not been easy to spread

So far this morning I have cleaned the outside of the downstairs windows and scrubbed the green stuff off the garden chairs.
I am now drinking my third pint, and about to start work (honest!)

In addition to the above, I have now done a couple of hours work, done a bit of shopping for the visitors coming this weekend, picked some blackberries on Sodbury Common and some raspberries in the garden (both for desert tonight), unsuccessfully looked for elderberries (cos the council have just been round cutting all the hedges while they are still full of berries), and am now about to have lunch in the .

Just to keep @summerdays informed of what I'm doing with my new-found free time...

Ok, I have Brittany butter, garlic, some large flat mushrooms, a mature stilton and a thick cut 456g slab of ribeye steak......realistically there's only one thing that can happen next.
