The nearside headlight bulb on my car blew on my way home from w*rk last night/this morning.
Even though I'm on holiday until the 24th and do not intend using the car until then, I changed the bulb this evening.
Typical FIAT, typical faff to change it..

I recall we were taught how to do it during our apprenticeship. Never used it since but was struck with how malleable metal is.

There is something very satisfying about a well executed, clean knurl.

Not raining here!! (Looks as though it might) I shall suspend watering duties for a bit.

I saw 2 meteorites at 1am. I then went back to bed.
I'm now tired wanting to go back to sleep but I can't. Physio comes in an hour and I have some watering to do and then some bread making and some scones to make for Saturday's charity bike ride given that wiggle have failed to deliver a parcel I ordered at the beginning of last week.
