Before the school holiday my colleagues daughter was given a pumpkin seed from school. I asked today how it was growing, very well apparently it is rather tall with a thick stem, I pointed out that she wasn't growing a pumpkin they grow close to the ground, now she has no idea what it is, my guess is a sunflower from her description.
