Damn, I type really sl

Just had a phone call. My NI contributions are no longer going to be paid. That's all I claim except PIP. Just my NI contributions, not statuary sick pay or anything like that...

:cursing: I hate this country's welfare system.

Apparently not being able to sit or stand, and being in chronic pain does not exclude me from working in this country. And not being very mobile is not enough by itself.

I have the same thing with the MS @SatNavSaysStraightOn , because it's Relapsing Remitting I can walk (and cycle) and seem pretty unaffected most of the time, however I haven't met an employer who is happy to just have me off work for three or four hours or days or weeks at random times, sometimes just starting full-on in the middle of a day, because I can no longer stand up, walk in a straight line, think straight or fall asleep in the middle of making a cup of tea.
The form filling for benefits makes it clear from the off; they're going to make it very, very hard for you to prove you're not a sponger faking it even though DWP leaflets use fake people.

Normal silly mode now on again...

I probably will but you get 1 month from receipt of the letter and we are going on holiday on the 3rd for 2 weeks. Plus we would need to pay for the additional evidence to be provided, such as a letter from my gp or private consultant. And I'm left wondering if it is going to be worth it. I'm not going to get a full state pension anyhow. It just send more hassle than it if worth some days.

Genuinely being I'll in the country is seriously difficult.
Perhaps I need to take lessons on how to defraud the system because there don't seem to be many other ways of getting help!

I actually had to stop the medical assessment because I was in too much pain and unable to sit any longer! And the person who was addressing me was a doctor as well!
Ahhhhhh :cursing:

So I need a legal job where I can stand up out sit for 15-20 minutes at a time max, then life down for the remaining 2 hours because I'm not weight bearing on my spine yet for any great length of time... Either that our a job cycling a recumbent trike...

Any one any legal ideas? Nope didn't think so....:cursing:

It is just so frustrating. Right now all I want to do is cry. That is what it has reduced me to. Either that our throwing something I can't lift out of a window I can't reach.

Rant over (again)

They changed the assesments again?
Their medical expert(Dr) can't over-rule your GP or any specialist(s) you are seeing. All they can do is add their opinion. Medical opinion can be challenged, medical fact can not.
As my local DWP office found out.

DWP don't issue DL54's anymore, but I'd be tempted to ask for a pair of them.
I have asked which is why I know they don't issue them anymore. But it certainly made them sit up and take notice, and stop pushing their luck saying I was overplaying the impact of the condition.

Take the trike into the local office as proof of your only unsupported means of transport.
