I can't bring myself to do that this afternoon. Perhaps next Sunday.

We've got a 200ft Aspen tree ( slight exaggeration ) at the back of our garden plus a couple of cherry trees, with only a couple of leaves left dangling. I'm going to miss not sweeping the leaves next weekend!

I don't know why everyone's trees seem to have shed their leaves, mine still have most on the tree.

Next door is going for the easy way, chop off the branches while the leaves are still on it then you don't have to clear up fallen leaves!

I've got half a pear tree (hanging over our rear fence) and that's where most of the leaves come from. There's still a few to come down.....so perhaps I'll sweep them up next week (or the week after)

Don't forget to return the leaves to the owner of the tree. Otherwise its theft!

It is quite warm today, open a window.

Anyway, second coat of paint done, and new carpet cut to size. In a couple of hours I can start putting the room back together.

Is it just me, or do you think people start moaning about Christmas earlier and earlier each year?

The mist has just rolled back in again, and I've brought my washing back in.... I don't think it was any drier than when I put it out!

If you're missing the sweeping that much there's plenty in our garden.
