My school's 'celebration dinner' at a restaurant this week has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Announcing twenty five redundancies last Tuesday caused a loss of appetite for a lot of staff.

I shall eat many pies to compensate.

Today's excitement, tomorrow's Mundane so I may as well put it here to start off with... A Water Rail sighting on our Budleigh Salterton Otter estuary walk and a good close encounter with a hunting Kestrel. Really nice viewing.
