I'm boycotting Black Friday, and Splurge Saturday too. Mind, this morning seems a bit busy for a normal Sunday.

Me too, have been entertaining myself by watching a lovely uplifting film called Sightseers, perfect afternoon viewing.

I'm sitting in a cafe after having lovely leek and potato soup and am now giving the rather delicious looking chocolate cake behind the counter glad eye.

I hear that someone will be out buying computers in the Deal vicinity. I will get there first and snap up all the bargains.

Entered PC World 1, located computer but they are out of stock. The shop was empty.

Drove to PC World 2, computer in stock but global crash of credit card systems so couldn't buy it.

Drove home and ordered it online but can only pick it up tomorrow as they won't deliver this one to home and cannot pay for it online, has to be done in store so lets hope the system is up and running tomorrow

If i say i am going out to buy something this time next year, please feel free to kick me to the back of beyond.

Will Hills get a good deal in Deal?

I went to Ramsgate and Canterbury, complete waste of time.

Back from the big box store, where I walked about 1/4 mile to get to the parking lot, which I knew would be full at 6 a.m., and worked my way through the mass of humanity to the pile of electronics,which were mainly attracting Indian folks, many of whom I know from my bus. Grabbed my helmet camera for $25 and a couple of furnace filters and a Cadbury bar, then went to the checkouts few people know are there, as everyone was being herded to the main ones, which had 20-30 people in line already. I went back to the contractors' desk and waited after 4 people and checked out there. Then I went home and got a look at some YouTube video of how to use my camera. This helped fill in the gaps left by the instructions. Then I tried to get video of my neighbors' Eskimo dog sneaking out the back door to bark at my dogs, then run back inside the house immediately after barking, which is generally something my dogs do to the Dachshunds next door. This has currently been happening with a cascade effect. Mainly, I am wondering if Hills did get a deal. In Deal. If not, could be a hard drive home.

Yep it certainly is. I have one more small errand to run and then it's feet up, drink in hand and something i recorded earlier.

My dentist prefers to do that kind of thing in a private room out back, yours must be a bit strange

Just as I was getting my bearings some git bunged colours in to the mix as well and now Potsy tells me it's Friday too...

I've just booked an adult education language course for the beginning of next year, at one of our local colleges.

It was a toss up between Spanish or Arabic.... Mr R thought Spanish would be more helpful in the short term so I've plumped for that. I might do the Arabic course next summer.

Helps you when you go to the bank.

We are having two Sundays this weekend; Sunday on Sunday and Sunday on Monday.

In other news I'm not having any teeth out, but sympathise with those who are.

I also think Ramsgate is a waste of time, and don't get me started on Canterbury.
