Sorry to break the bad news but Santa jumped a red light on his sleigh and got hit by a car. His sleigh is a right-off and police are charging him with being drunk in charge of a sleigh so he may not be able to make Christmas night.

Really enjoyed this series, but the thing thats puzzling me is, <spoiler alert> how did he and the baby get to that barn, when Saga and Henrik had to get the helicopter to get there? Any detectives amongst us!

I don't remember how much time he had to get there but Saltholm is only about a mile from Copenhagen and a few hundred yards from the main E20 road bridge/tunnel between Cph and Malmo. (Thematically, Saltholm marks the link between Denmark and Sweden like the bridge does.) There's a harbour to the northeast, close to a barracks. He'd probably have had time to navigate the mile from Cph harbour to Saltholm harbour for it not to screw up the story line. Cops are playing catch up so they need helicopters. Film crew are filming it so they need helicopters.

For those who have given up trying to understand what the lyrics to the theme tune are, it's not worth going to i-Player and activating subtitles either because they're vacuous and make more sound than sense. I like the cello voicing in the middle of the tune though.
