I had a two grape breakfast this morning. My appetite was increased by the introduction of a second colour and carving.

Just got up, that was a proper sleep. Bacon from the Cheshire Smokehouse for reakfast I think, thrn Sainsburys. Tonight we go to see that film that everyone is banging on about.

Wasted 3 hours over the past 3 days watching And Then There Were....…......................... A complete waste of time, should have watched a repeat of something instead.

I enjoyed it, though ended up having to look up extra information online to make complete sense.

It rained at 7. I went out for a 13 mile ride at 8.30. Just got back and it's raining again.......I must be lucky.

Beautiful blue skies here today, to make up for us not having them yesterday when most of the rest of the country did, though at least it was bright.

It wasn't Christmas cake.... But it might have been in a mince pie

The pastry helps to keep it all together, and stop the beneficial juices and nutrients from falling on the floor!

I love marzipan, and one of my weaknesses is those chocolate covered Marzipan bars you can buy.... I have some in the house, but I hid them from myself to stop me eating them straight away. Good job too as I'd have eaten them yesterday if I could have found them

The one I just finished was rum and raisin covered in chocolate. All gone now!

I just love the stuff. It is wasted on cakes.
