In our 12 mile ride this morning in -3 degrees. I found I have got my clothing totally right. After 7 miles I was lovely and warm. Unfortunately, my water bottles were bricks of ice. Thats what -6 wind chill does.

Next time I will put them in the pannier.

Time for me to start carrying the Trangia.

I, too, had a disturbed night. I think our house is being used as a hostel for waifs and strays.

I have managed to relocate my waifs and strays.... Now I'm about to enjoy some peace and quiet, once I've tidied the house!! Now back to a household of 3!
