She was awake as I could hear her talking to a crying Henry so I have made tea. Popped it into her room in time to see a tiny flash of white and ginger streaking across her bed.

I had an Aunt who used to drive an A35, it had the big knob in the middle of the dash for the indicators, it also had the indicator arms that stuck out when she turned the knob on the dash, later on she had an A40.

I think they were called trafficators and were operated by a solenoid.

Yes. A40 farina... can't remember the exact year but it was def pre-1966.

This was like one of mine. An A40 Devon (Counties class) 1952. I also had a 1054 Devon Commercial, and a 1954 Somerset.

Edit: the registration number was GAP 39
