I've been indoors most of the day so I went out to do a few repetitions of the hill in Greenwich Park to get some air into my lungs. First time I couldn't find my legs, 2nd time they were there working properly, 3rd time I'd lost them again so I came home again. Still almost light after 9pm. And the blackbirds were in a very musical mood at dusk.

I'm still using an iPod & running Apple's software in a Win7 virtual machine on Linux. But then I mostly use it for podcasts.

I've used a Creative Zen for years, when I first moved to Ubuntu it took a little while to figure out but it worked well using Amarok to manage it. When I brought this computer a few months ago I found that there was a limited number of flavours of Linux that were straight forward to install with UEFI, I originally installed mint but had some stability problems so swapped to Fedora, in both distro's I couldn't access the creative, eventually I got limited access, but I decided I'd had enough messing about and treated myself to the Cowen and sold the creative to my son, he's still on XP and has been looking for another MP3 player. I think the problem was that the Creative predates MTP and the computer was seeing it as a MTP device, what I think I needed to do was get the computer to see it as USB device.

I was in the North East visiting a friend and drooling over these potential n+1 motorcycles

I could not live with the turbo state of smug that would ensue if he pulled that one off. All chopsticks must depart the house immediately.
