Too much syrup, and it could have done with being less diluted but I followed the recipe for once (well I did use out of date buttermilk! But so far I'm still living it would be unfair to risk your health too!)

Do you always need to be in the freezer to make your puddings then? Is it to do with the temperature of the suet? .

If there wasn't room for them in the freezer I'd have to eat them.
