The bit I persuaded her to go out to do, the walk along the sea front because the forecast was giving stormy weather today and it can be spectacular as it hits the cliffs at Sidmouth- 15 minutes then it was 'Oohhh..the parking runs out soon...let's get back now...'

We got our car back yesterday after six weeks of being repaired.

In a couple of hours, Mrs.66 had managed to rip off the fuel filter cap, having forgotten that you have to leave the car unlocked to open it.

Tonight I come home to find that the cover for the driver's door mirror had gone.

I think I'm going to have to source bits of trim from eBay and carry them round everywhere.

We have had bangers and mash for tea. The sausages were Tori & Ben's plain beef. They tasted of cow with a sweet farmyard back note. Absolutely devine.

I'd drop a knife, forget the time and switch in some music, bang tins etc.... I've tried emptying the dishwasher before and know that's doomed to failure!

I need to make more pastry for my mince pies as we've eaten the last batch of 24.... But I think I'll wait though it's almost tempting to see if I could do it quietly....
