We went out for a walk this morning, nice day, a bit breezy then the wind picked up and the rain came down-at times sideways- so we were both quite soggy when we got home. It was nice to get out and about though.

Pie free. The pie on offer was one of those top crust only tray bakes so declined. Highlights - Tom Robinson acoustic set and Eliza Carthy band. The low point was the Unthanks, I was nearly moved to sporting a 'do not resusitate' sign just In case I died of boredom. Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman due on should be good.

I wish that someone would switch off those big offshore fans. The wind has not really let up since Friday.

Nevertheless it's still a relaxing weekend.

Yep, that's what you get with madnolia trees

I just looked - the magnolia bush in front of my window here is also in bud. If the buds open, will I get more buds in the spring?

Similarly, our spring flowering cherry tree is in blossom. Will we get some more blossom at the 'correct' time of year?

Must be all the CO2 in the atmosphere (...ducks and goes to find hard hat...)

I suffered from premature speculation. I forgot about the Lakeman connection. Sean is just as boring and samey on guitar as Seth.
