Nice dry sunny morning, then the heavens open when I stepped outside on my lunch hour and now I'm back the sun is shining again

It's been grey here with on and off mizzle ... but as I was expecting heavy showers that's good in my books!

Feeling really tired and wanting this week to finish!!! Can't decide if I've got a cold coming or just need a rest day or two!

At 3pm today I was asked if I wanted to go to Boston on business, leaving Heathtow on the 9.30pm flight tonight. I declined.

By the way, I have started my new diet today. It's the 7,0 diet....eat for 7 days and then diet for the rest of the week.

And depends, of course, on when you start. Starting on the 17th would create a miserable Christmas.

Yep. Something went BANG at a customer, at 140,000 volts it was a big bang and it's stopping them shipping equipment worth $10M.
It needs sorting, one of the senior designers had his arm twisted and he is going tomorrow.

Mind you we have a reciprocal arrangement with Scott and Kayleigh next door, we feed their cats and sometimes Ruby their Staffie (unless she goes with them) when they're away and they feed ours.
We have been told by a vet that yearly 'booster' innoculations are a waste of time for cats, unfortunately he's too far away for us to use him so ours are with the Park Vetinary Group who seem to believe in them (or at least on the revenue stream they provide) so other than initial vaccinations and neutering the only time ours visit the vet is for injury/illness but we also have a savings account into which goes the equivalent of 'pet insurance' to cover costs.

Ours has a check up and booster every year, without them the cattery wouldn't take her. Non of our neighbours have any pets so we cannot ask. Merlot was poorly when she was quite young and had to visit the vet and have a course of medication, thankfully she got better and all is well so we haven't (yet) had to take her for any other reason. I really don't think I could cope with 2 again.

No, the week starts on the 27th. No eating, Christmas day & Boxing day

Actually I think we'll allow you to eat a little leftovers on Boxing day, remind you of what you'd missed.

Today the boss wasn't happy because we hadn't trimmed up the office, we haven't had the time but he wants it doing so s*d it, tomorrow I won't do any work until the tree is done, so what if we are far behind due to the complete system shut down a few weeks ago
