A couple of my chickens tried to escape they're enclosure today. They didn't go far though. As soon as they escaped, they put their heads down and started pecking at the grass. It has to be said, they aren't intelligent animals.

I never worry about how clever they may be while eating a Chicken and Leek pie. Or boiling one of their kids to death.

Sausages and chips in the oven.... And smallest summerling complaining how late we are eating.... I've pointed out they could cook Thursday nights if they like.... They seem to have gone silent...
