Shame. The BBC is running its Top of th Pops shows from 35 years ago week by week. Clearly there is a lot of dross, but at the age of 15/16 in'81 I was properly into the music. Before then my mate and I were into punk and new wave stuff, whilst the girls in our street, who we fancied, were into Shaky, Bucks Fizz and that dross. With the first Spandau album 'Journeys to Glory', Human League and Depeche Mode we had common interests. Not that that helped in the end.

Thank you for your birthday wishes. The thing is..... My birthday is in August, it's just that I'm having a year long party of fun stuff to celibrate my half century.
