Yeah, I tried that.
Really, I've not seen that or I would have told you to buy something else, preferably with hydraulic brakes.

There again looking at the bike you have now it would be a massive improvement :tongue:
 
Been there and done it! The ride that is. It was only just over 4 miles but I am shattered. I am ready for a nap now.

nobbly mtb tyres will have to do as I have forgotten where I stored the ice tyres
They were not up to the job, I think I will hasten my search for the ice tyres :B)

Saw some ice as I went through the park but it was only as I turned a corner that I realised (too late) that the sun hadn't quite warmed up the path enough to melt the black ice...

Oh well, 2 mile ride only but at least I only have a slight 'pull' on my left leg and nothing more serious.

And at the moment I've only £270. Just been up to the local CycleSurgery, their lowest is £370.
