An update on the Rambo squirrel eating bullfinch. It died last night and was carried off and eaten by a magpie this morning. Another Rambo squirrel eating bullfinch has stepped up to the mark. Worryingly it's sitting on the lawn near the spot where its predecessor died.

I got back earlier than usual from my ride, so I didn't miss the weekly visit from the father in law. However , he has brought us a haggis . I shall have to get the appropriate veg on the way home from work tomorrow.
