I've sorted out the workflow to convert a printed model aircraft plan into laser cutter ready files using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

This plan:

will eventually be converted into this, a 1930s 43" span rubber powered GB3 Wakefield freeflight model. Its designer Bob Copland wen on to contribute to the designs of the Hawker Hurricane, Hunter and Harrier aircraft.

A lot of 'shed time' is envisaged in the near future.
